French lavender ‘Princess’ is an evergreen shrub bearing purple and pink flowers throughout the summer. Highly scented.

Soil: well-drained soil.

Flowering season: Summer

Uses: Wildlife, Cottage Garden, Fragrance, Hedging and rows, Borders and beds, Containers, Coastal, Mediterranean.

Planting: Lavender grows best in low to moderately fertile well drained sandy soils. Add grit to improve drainage.

Maintenance: Prune annually when the flowers have faded taking care not to cut into old wood. Cut back leafy stems to within 5cm of woody stems.
