Wild Flower – Columbine – Aquilegia Vulgaris

This plant is similar to many of the garden types. It flowers from May to July with purple blue flowers, and grows to the height of 1m.

Sow from August onwards in seed trays or direct. They need a period of cold to germinate so do not expect germination until the following spring. They will grow in most soils and self-sow quite easily.
