This is an unusual and newly popular vegetable. It is a vigorous climber that produces grape sized melon / cucumber. These fruits taste a bit like cucumbers with a tinge of lime. It is a very refreshing addition to salads. The plant is easier to grow than the popular cucumber.

Sow indoors or in a greenhouse from April onwards. After the have germinated plant out after hardening off. When the plant has reached full height pinch out the growing tip and trim laterals when needed. It produces plenty of small fruits through out the season.
