Chilli Pepper Vindaloo produces an abundance of long red fruits ( up to 25cm) These ripen from green to red and have a moderate to intense heat at SHU 45000 The fruits can be dried for use over winter. As with many chillies germination can be slow and the plants can take a while to develop. When they are established they can be grown in the greenhouse or outdoors.

Sow the chilli seeds in quality compost and keep at temperatures above 20C Germination should take about 2-3 weeks, continue to grow in a warm spot. Pot up when large enough to handle.

Handle the seeds with care as they can cause severe chilli burns.
