Cardiocrinum glehnii

This is the much rarer and slightly dwarfed form of the “Giant Yunnan Lily”. It features massive, fragrant, creamy white trumpets that hang from a strong tall stem.

It is slow to germinate, so sow now and it will probably not germinate until early the next year. Cover with compost or grit 5mm deep. Keep moist in a cool, covered light spot outside, and no heat is needed. Grow on seedlings in 3 pots, and then plant out in good garden soil.
