Callistemon salignus Bottlebrush

This exceptionally hardy shrub produces large, furry greenish-yellow “bottlebrush” flowers in profusion in spring. This is an outstanding new colour in the more usually red “bottlebrush” range. It grows to a height of over 6 feet.

Sow finely and evenly, covering thinly, at any time in gentle heat or a warm spot outside. Grow on individual seedlings in 3 inch pots, and then plant out in a well-drained, sheltered position.
