This runner bean has been bred for the British climate. It produces loads of flowers that are still able to set when the weather is poor. The beans are stringless and tasty. High yielding.

Sow the seed indoors from mid-April ready to plant out after the last frost. The seed can be sown in situ from May onwards. Generally, allow 22cm between canes and 60cm between rows using canes to support the plants as they grow. To get a good harvest keep the plants well-watered and feed on a regular basis. If you sow in situ plant sow some extra seed to fill gaps.
