Portulaca – Happy Trails Pink

Note: these seeds are pelleted (2-4 seeds per pellet), making them much easier to handle and sow.

This is a wonderful trailing variety with well-branched trailing plants that produce large semi-double flowers in pink. It is great for baskets and containers in full sun, and grows to a height of 20-25cm.

Sow the seeds from January onwards, and keep at 24C to get best germination. Do not cover with Vermiculite as the seeds need light for germination, which takes about 1 week. It grows well in a semi-shady spot in the garden.
