This type is easy to grow and although considered a main crop variety, can be successionally planted to give a continuous crop, producing large, thick roots. It has very good colour and flavour and it will thrive in even poor soils.

The seed can be sown from February onwards, ideal for sowing under cover. Sow outdoors from April onwards.
