Toughball is a high yielding medium early variety. It can be grown as an autumn or spring sown onion. It produces a great quality globe shaped bulb that is a regular winner in local and national shows in the under 250g category. Good tolerance to Botrytis and Downy Mildew.

Sow in August to September or from December to March in a heated greenhouse. Sow in seed tray, cover the seeds and water in. Plant out in October or if sown early in year plant out in April.
