Lettuce Arctic King

The Arctic King is an excellent choice for autumn sowing due to its robustness. This butterhead lettuce variety thrives outdoors in winter conditions. It produces compact, bright green heads that are ready in the spring following autumn planting. For an earlier yield, cover the crop with cloches in January or February.

Sow from August to October direct and thin to 25cm or in modules in the greenhouse for planting out later undercover . You can use cloches in colder areas to protect.
