Beetroot – Crimson King

This beetroot has medium to large round, deep red roots with fine flavour and texture and no rings. It is ideal for winter storage, easy to grow and much more tasty than fresh shop bought beetroot. It should be harvested just at the right time when the size of a tennis ball.

Sow direct in April and harvest from June onwards, use the thinnings as small beetroot earlier in the season
