Rhubarb Victoria

This variety produces large plants that give generous crops of full flavoured, long, succulent stems year after year with very little maintenance. It is a good variety for forcing.

How to Sow and Grow Rhubarb

Sow ideally in March – April in a quality seed compost. Ideally sown one seed in each module. Grow the pots under cover and keep well watered. Plant out them out in the autumn or the following year. The plants like richly manured soils and is tolerant of semi shade. When the plants are strong and mature then you can start pulling the first harvest.
