Hop’s amazing female flowers are not only decorative but can also be used in brewing. The flowers and leaves are used in creating herb pillows which are said to help sleep. This twining herbaceous climber features bristly stems and lobed leaves.

Sow the seed from late May through to July. To get successful germination the seed needs to be kept warm for 2 – 3 weeks, followed by a period of 4 – 5 weeks at 2 – 4C. Keep cool once germinated. Pot up and plant out when developed.
