ASPARAGUS PACIFIC PURPLE X 2

The Asparagus officinalis ‘Pacific Purple’ is ahigh yelding variety of dark green/purple spears. A sweeter variety as well.

When planting new crowns, refrain from harvesting the first year, and harvest only a few spears the following one to allow the plant to become stronger.

Plant in a light soil, dig in sand if your soil is heavy clay.

In Autumn, once the feather foliage has gone yellow, cut back.

Position: Full sun to dappled shade

Soil: Well-drained

Fruiting season:Spring and early summer
