Aster – Super Princess Mixed

This variety produces large flowers with crested centres in a range of colours. The flowers grow on tall stems, reaching around 70cm, and are ideal for cutting.

Sow indoors from March to April on the surface of sowing compost, making sure not to cover as the light helps germination. Keep at a temperature of 20C inside a sealed container until after germination, which usually takes 7-21 days. Transplant the seedlings when large enough to handle into small pots or trays. Grow them on in a cooler condition and plant them out to their final position when the plants are acclimatized and the risk of frost has passed.
