Cabbage – Durham Early

This is a spring cabbage, sown in the autumn, with small, firm, leafy head.

Sow from July onwards, 2cm deep in a seed bed or modules. Thin the seedlings and then transplant to about 35 – 45cm apart. The plants do well when extra fertiliser is added to the crop. Make sure the ground if firm around the plant.
