Calendula is ideal for almost any position including poor soils. It is fast growing and will flower from June to October. This variety haslemony petals that can also be used in salads. Ideal not just for the garden but also containers. Hardy annuals.

Sow directly from April onwards. Prepare the soil into a fine tilth and sow the seeds thinly. For best results thin to about 30cm apart when large enough to handle. They can be sown in pots in March to April, pot up and plant out after hardening off.
