Carex oshimensis Everoro is a compact, evergreen sedge forming neat, arching clumps of striking variegated foliage with a golden-yellow centre edged green. Ideal for adding year-round texture and colour to containers, shaded borders and as ground cover, it thrives in light shade to full shade in moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Low-maintenance and reliable, it reaches about 30 cm tall and 40 cm wide; remove any tired leaves in late winter to keep plants tidy. In spring it produces small, inconspicuous brown flower spikes.
