Clary Sage – Salvia Sclarea

Clary Sage features colourful flower bracts in its second summer. It has culinary and medicinal uses, with large aromatic leaves that can be made into fritters. This fully hardy biennial grows to a height of 60 cm.

It is easy to grow in any soil. Sow in pots in the spring or late summer, though it can also be sown direct.
