This unusual variety is one that has highly coloured red and green pods. These can be eaten as is or as shelled dry beans.

Sow the seed indoors from mid-april ready to plant after the last frost. They germinate best at temperatures of 16 -25C. The seed can been sown in situ form May onwards. Generally allow 22cm between canes and 60cm between rows using canes to support the plants as they grow. To get a good harvest keep the plants well watered and feed on a regular basis. If you sow in situ plant some extra seed to fill gaps.
