Eccremocarpus Scaber – Flame Colour

Also known as “Chilean Glory Vine”, this is a vigorous scrambler with red, orange or yellow tubular flowers, which are produced freely from June to October in multi-flowered trusses. It makes a hardy overwintering tuber, but flowers first year from seed.

Cover with compost or grit 5mm. deep. Sow anytime and keep moist in a cool, light spot outside. The seeds may be slow to germinate. Grow on individual seedlings in 3″ pots, and then plant out in a well-drained sheltered position.
