This perennial has mild cucumber-flavoured leaves and grows in a round clump up to the height of 15-40cm. The leaves are great in salads and dips.

Sow outdoors in situ, in May, and thin to sturdiest plant. This herb likes well drained soil, in a sunny position. Pick the leaves as required, best used fresh. In mild winters can stay green all year.
