Dwarf Beans – Coloured Collection

This collection contains unusually coloured beans, which are delicious whether eaten hot or served in a fresh summer salad. Their ornamental pods are equally at home, grown in the flower garden.
Borlotto – green pods heavily flecked with red. Eat as fresh green pods or dry the stripy bean seeds.
Golden Wax Roquencourt – long deep yellow rounded pods, make an unusual and attractive alternative, while the black tasty seeds add something a little different.
Contender – round podded green beans occasionally flecked purple. The dark seeds can also be dried and used as haricot beans.
