• Select a location with full sun to part shade. Grows well in almost any soil, but the most sweet and tender leaves are produced in fertile soil with plenty of water, especially during hot weather.
• Cut plants near ground level when leaves are 2-4 long. The plants bolt (produce a seed stalk) quickly in hot weather.
