Lenten Rose (Helleborus Annas Red)

Helleborus Annas Red is a standout Lenten rose with large, outward-facing deep red flowers from late winter into early spring, held above handsome marbled evergreen foliage. Ideal for shaded borders, woodland gardens and containers, it thrives in partial shade and in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil; remove tired leaves in late winter to reveal the blooms. Compact and reliable, it typically reaches around 3045cm tall and 4050cm across and is fully hardy.
