Kyoto RZ is an iceberg lettuce with a small to medium, nice round head with strong, dark wrapper leaves. Its good flavour further increases its consumer value. Kyoto RZ is a good all-rounder and is especially suited to heavy soils. It is strong against bolting, tipburn and brown ribs and it has a wide package of Bremia resistances. Kyoto RZ is suitable for outdoor production in temperate climate zones in spring, summer and autumn.
