Mimulus Guttatus Monkey Flower

This lovely Chilean flower produces a succession of red-spotted bright yellow “snapdragon” flowers from earliest spring. It grows equally well with its feet in water, when it spreads freely, making a glorious floating carpet of flowers all summer long.

Sow finely and evenly, covering thinly, at any time in gentle heat or a warm spot outside. Grow on individual seedlings in 3 pots, and then plant out in a well-cultivated position or even where it can spread into water.
