This is a brilliant variety featuring bright flowers, which are perfect for a springtime garden and excellent for beds, border, pots and window boxes. This hardy perennial reaches the height of 20cm.
Sow thinly indoors from January to June, on the surface of a small tray of pre-watered compost. Place in a cold frame, unheated greenhouse, or on a cool windowsill. Keep moist and do not let the surface of the compost dry out. A temperature of 10-15C is ideal. Higher temperatures may inhibit germination. Seedlings usually appear in 21-42 days. Pot on individually, when large enough to handle, to 7.5cm pots. Always hold by a leaf, never by the stem. Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions, before planting out into well-drained soil, June-October, 20cm apart. Flowers from March to May.
