British bred climbing variety with tasty firm flesh. Train over trellis, ideal for limited space. Sow indoors, for surest results, 1.5cm deep, on edge, in small pots of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20C (60-68F) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 7-14 days. Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out 90cm (3 inch) apart, when frosts are over. Harvest regularly to encourage plants to continue cropping through the season. Discard any bitter tasting fruit.
