Sow indoorfor surest results, in trays of compost. Cover very lightly with fine soil. Water well and place on a warm windowsill. Seedlings appear in 14-42 days. Transplant seedlings 5cm(2in) apart to further trays when large enough to handle. Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts) before planting out 15cm(6in) apart.
