Chili Pepper – Madre Vieja

A great variety from South America. It is a compact Capsicum baccatumvariety that gives an early productive harvest. The ripe chillies are orange with a delicious fruity flavour with medium hot pungency.

Sow from February onward to April in individual pots.. Pot on in late May. Germinate at 25C, compost should not be too moist to prevent the seeds from rotting. All chilli peppers are very sensitive to the cold, grow under glass or well protected site outside.
