This is an early flowering Perovskia from seed. It is a great garden plant with a very long flowering period. It is a great border or patio plant with its silvery leaves. It will attract bees and butterflies. This is a perennial plant.

The seeds can be started at any time but are best if started early in the year when it will bloom during the first season. Press the seeds into the soil so they are hardly covered. Germination can be a little variable over a number of weeks. Pot the seedlings up and plant out when they have established.
