Prunus inc. Kojou-no-mai is a compact, deciduous Fuji cherry valued for its twiggy, zig-zag branching and masses of single, pale pink blossom in early spring, usually from March to April, opening before the fresh green leaves. Foliage develops attractive orange-red tints in autumn. Grow in full sun in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil; it is fully hardy across the UK. Forms a neat shrub around 1.5m tall and wide over time.
