Strawberry – Tristan

This variety is notable for its large deep rose flowers on compact plants. The fruit is produced all summer and is very sweet. The plants do not produce many runners so is ideal for pot culture. Each plant yields between 500 – 750g in good growing conditions, with the average fruit size being 10-18g.

The germination of these seeds can be a bit slow and erratic. Sow from February onwards undercover, keep temperature at 21C. Germination takes 2-3 weeks. Pot up into individual pots and harden off before planting the seedlings out.
