Suffolk Herbs Chervil 700 Seeds

Chervil Anthriscus cerefolium

The fern-like leaves give a delicate aniseed-like taste in mild flavoured dishes, and are an alternative garnish to parsley. It prefers shady position and grows to a height of 30cm.

Sow outside in August/September or in March. Scatter the seeds and either lightly rake into the soil or cover with fine soil. Keep moist, and it prefers rich soil shaded from the mid-day sun.
