Italian Parsley Petroselinum crispum neapolitanum

This is a vigorous, aromatic plant with large, bright green, plain leaves.

Sow early indoors in pots or trays under glass at 13C. Thin to 5-6cm apart before gradually hardening off and planting out in April 25cm apart. Alternatively, sow later outdoors direct into the growing site 1cm deep. Gradually thin to the eventual spacing of 25cm. The thinning can be potted for winter use. Always harvest by cutting 2cm above the soil to encourage new growth.
