Organic Salad Rocket

This is a superb salad with leaves of a delicious spicy flavour. It is quite unique and compulsive eating.

Sow in February and March direct into soil, in a cold frame or under cloches. Later sowings can be made in open ground. Sow in shallow drills about 1cm deep in rows 25cm apart. Thin out the seedlings as they grow to a final spacing of 15cm. Pick leaves regularly to prevent the plants quickly running to seed. Sow in small batches each month to ensure a continuous supply of fresh leaves.
