Salad Burnet Sanguisorba Minor

This is an attractive plant growing to about 30cm tall. It is an evergreen with pretty little red flowers, and its dark green leaves have a slightly bitter flavour for salad use.

Sow outside in spring in well-spaced drills. Keep moist and transplant to their permanent position when large enough to handle. It prefers sun or half shade.
