Sweet Pea Mammoth Navy Blue

This variety grows wonderful navy blue flowers. It makes for excellent cut flowers with long stems and very large flowers. The plant grows to 200cm, and so needs support.

Sow in September in flowering site around 2cm deep. Sow later in pots or deep modules, such as root-trainers, 2 seeds to a module or 5 seeds to a pot. Place in cold frame to over winter. Sweet peas like moist, fertile soil with good drainage in a sunny spot. Repeated dead-heading prolongs the flowering period.
