White Horehound is a perennial medicinal herb with highly attractive silvery foliage and shrubby habit. It enhances any flower or herb planting. It was once made into sweets for coughs and is still used to treat bronchitis It grows to a height of 60cm.

Sow in a shallow drill and lightly cover with fine soil or compost in spring when soil is warm. Water well. Thin seedlings and transplant when large enough. It will grow in any garden soil, and will thrive in a dry situation.
