Scarlet Pimpernel – Anagallis Arvensis

Scarlet Pimpernel is a hardy annual, which has small bright red flowers with a purple tinged centre and yellow stamens. It flowers from May right through to October. The flowers close in cloudy weather, giving the plant one of its common names Poor Mans Weatherglass.

Sow the seeds at any time, they will grow even at low temperatures.
