Thrift – Armeria Maritima

Thrift (Sea Pink) flowers from spring onwards with masses of small rose-pink pompom flower heads above tufty grass like leaves, from May to July. This plant is ideal for borders, rockeries and between paving stones. It is very common in the wild on cliffs.

Sow in the autumn and it will germinate in a couple of months over the winter.
