Wild Angelica – Angelica Sylvestris

Wild Angelica has umbels of tiny white flowers with pink tinges, and reaches the height of 2.5m. It is a short lived perennial that grows in a wide range of habitats, such as slightly damp rich soil. It may need occasional soil disturbance to help new seeds germinate.

The ideal time to sow the seed is late summer and autumn to allow the seed to get a period of cold before it germinates (vernalisation). Germination should then happen in the spring.
